mvben06 asked: I saw a guy in one of my college classes playing some online poker that had this really cool graphical interface. I want the ability to play online and it’s downloadable. Not really looking to bet real money, I just want to play for fun. Has to be Texas Hold’em!

andronicus37m asked: This is a question about Texas Hold’em Poker. Ten-handed table with blinds 200/100 and 25 antes. I was in the big blind with 10-10. Everyone folds to the button, who raises 800. The small blind calls. I figure the button is probably trying to steal, so I call too. There is now 3050 in the pot. The flop comes down 3s-9c-4s. The small blind checks to me. Since I have a pair higher than the board, a backdoor spade flush, and I think the button might be bluffing, I bet out 1700 (a little more than half the pot). The button calls and the small blind bets about 9000 all-in, which is about half my remaining stack. So I’m getting 2-1 odds with a pair of tens facing an all-in bet with one person behind me. NOW — *I* think the obvious thing to do here is fold. However, my computer (yes, this was a computer game) says I should call, and I read some advice by a championship player about a very similar situation and he also recommended calling. Opinions? (Please be nice. *smile*)

hutchyw117 asked: Hey
I was watching an episode of High stakes poker and Jamie Gold makes a big river bluff and gets Eli to fold - but Daniel and Jen pick up on something Jamie says/ does and both Daniel and Jen say they would instant call after what Jamie did/said it
What does he do/say to give it away that he is bluffing?
Just watch from 7mins - 11mins:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ILVqD-jzFic&feature=PlayList&p=4E9AD0A45027D545&index=48
When Dan and Jen whisper what they think to each other i’m sure they say bluff twice - and during the hand Jamie says you don’t want to be bluffed twice - but I can’t see how this statement makes someone look weak or strong!
Thanks for your help!

Mike K asked: is it better just to play abc poker in real lower stakes such as .10 and .25 - .50 and 1? i.e. people would call down or risk their whole stack with top pair and no kicker, i can’t seemed to bluff them because the stakes are so low and the fancy moves just don’t work. Should I just play tourney and build my roll that way until I have enough to play at higher limits? Or just keep grinding at lower stakes and play abc poker, I have found my games skill drop significant when i play lower stakes and I play even worst now, what should I do any suggestions? thanks
Phillip

NN7911 asked: How do you bust an opponent who bets and raise a lot? Its very difficult to understand my opponent whether he/she is bluffing or just trying to steal the pot at every hand he/she plays. I win multiple tournaments online but i play bad playing against an opponents who bets and raise a lot playing every hands. I do bet or raise in a certain hands whether my hand is a strong hand or a mediocre or a low hand. I got to admit i make a lot of bad decisions against aggressive players. I also witness that when those type of players get busted they just sometimes start to play bad and risk most of their chips going all in or bluffing with nothing. Poker is hard, but i love the game. I feel like there is more to it to improve my game. I hope anyone can give me tips about this.

Patrice asked: It seems to be a very common phenomenon which clears up after a few months of regular playing. But why does it occur at all? Why when winning (as opposed to when bluffing, etc.)? Why does it stop after a few months?
